Renzo Piano, Cavaliere di Gran Croce OMRI (born 14 September 1937) is an Italian Pritzker Prize-winning architect. Piano was born in Genoa, Italy, in 1937, into a family of builders. He was educated and subsequently taught at the Politecnico di Milano.
